Birthday parties at Mobberley Miniatures are gorgeous. They are one of a kind and we have had amazing feedback. We hold them in our barn and party room in the colder months and out on the paddock in the summer months.  All the children (aged 2 and above) are able to ride the pony and have a wonderful time. They are hard to put into words but they are really special. We have now added the option to add on some amazing extras, including build a bear (unicorn), Unicorn hair-braiding and a birthday girl carriage ride.

A £50 deposit will secure your party date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours beforehand.

Invitation - Digital invitation in your chosen theme. 

Pegasus - Pegasus Surprise

Meet and Greet - Upon arrival meet the ponies and learn all about them.

Pamper - Pamper and brush the ponies.

Ribbons - Decorate the ponies in a variety of ribbons and bows.

Riding - The children all enjoy a confidence giving unicorn ride. If they are feeling nervous they can help lead the pony instead. The rides are great fun and the children love watching each other! Riding hats are provided. 

Facepainting/Glitter - Enjoy a magical facepainting creation with a sprinkle of magic. 

Nail painting - Each child has their nails painted

Paperie - Themed picnic table set up

Set up and Seating - Picnic set up (not food) with Straw bale seating

Snow Disco - A fun snow machine disco

*Chariot ride - (available to add on as an extra cost ) A horse drawn chariot ride where the birthday child will be crowned a unicorn princess! This has been a huge hit and they love been treated like a real princess. 

Art activity - Get creative with an arts and craft activity. 

Gift - A special gift for birthday child

Your own enchanted Fairytale

We are excited to introduce our new and exciting unicorn experience! This is the perfect solution to those not wanting a birthday party but still wanting to do something extra special by themselves or with family and friends..

Duration: 60 - 80 Minutes

Where: Mobberley Miniatures

Cost: £110 per child

2nd child £45 (1 pony)

Wings/Horn: Please let us know if you have any particular colour requests. 

Ponies: Maximum of 2 children per pony. Maximum of 2 ponies to book per session.

The Unicorn experience is a personal session that is perfect for a unique and magical birthday surprise. 

Its hard to put into words how brilliant these are, but they really are magical and give your child a taste of owning their very own unicorn.

• Meet the residents of mobberley miniatures -Begin the session meeting some of the ponies , followed by meeting your own unicorn, and getting to know him. 

• Meet your Unicorn - The look on your childs face is pricess when they meet thier very own unicorn pegasus.

• Unicorn handling - Lead your Unicorn out of the stable

• Pamper session -Pamper and brush your unicorn.

• Dress up - Decorate your unicorn in a variety of ribbons and bows. 

• Unicorn riding - Enjoy a magical ride on your unicorn with plenty of photo opportunities. 

• Unicorn bedtime - After you have finished riding, its time to put him back in his stable and give him a special treat to find.

• Gift: Includes a special gift for your child.

• Facepaint - Get creative and enjoy a magical facepainting creation to finish the day.

This experience is a very popular choice for those who are not looking to host a birthday party, but would love something more personal for a special birthday treat.

Private lessons and toddler sessions

Suitable from age 2

Please see drop down menu for info and prices. We offer intro sessions, toddler sessions, private children and private adult lessons and a ride and learn session.

The minimum age for riding is 2. Riding hats are provided. Please wear suitable footwear (boots/wellies). No smoking. No dogs. Please also note, the ponies are not dressed as unicorns for these sessions.

What to do next

Simply get in touch either through Mobberley Miniature social media page, via this website or feel free to email, message or call me, Becky, on 07917004161 with the date,  Venue (if applicable) and number of children (For parties). Once a booking is arranged, we ask for a *non refundable deposit to be paid within 48 hours to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the party/event date.

Cancellation Policy

Please read before booking

Please be aware of our cancellation policy prior to booking with Mobberley Miniatures. 
Upon placing your booking with us you have entered a contract with ourselves - Mobberley Miniatures.  

However, if you wish to cancel your booking date , a new hire date will be offered within a 60 day time scale.  

Any payments/deposits previously made will be transferred to your new booking date.

Do you give horse riding lessons?

This is one of our most frequently asked questions! Mobberley Miniatures was established after noticing a gap in the market for children and ponies.  We are best known for not only providing birthday parties, but also providing confidence pony grooming and riding experiences for children, especially ages 2-7.

The sessions can be taken as part of a group (midweek mini or a monday mini) or a private/semi private session. They are perfectly timed so the little ones do not lose interest with lots to do, whilst gaining confidence on the ground and on board the pony.

 At the moment we don't provide horse riding lessons as such (Even though we have our riding school licence and I am a fully qualified coach) but in the near future we may do!

Where will parties take place?

We are able to offer pony parties at our premises or we can come to you!

Are the ponies well behaved?

In a nutshell, Yes. They are incredible. Both ponies have experienced a lot, even Harri aged just 5. They have been on film sets, beach rides, seen plenty of traffic, attended my children's parties/events, and they are handled and around very small children and lots of animals every day. However, they are still animals, and can make sudden and unexpected movements. 

Can they be used for therapy?

Yes they can, ranging from children with special needs or learning difficulties to elderly people who are unwell. Animal assisted therapy is fantastic. 

What age are the parties best suited for?

I think to get the most benefit from the themed parties, children aged 3 -8. However younger children have lots of fun too, but may need assistance from an adult helper. 

How do I book a toddler session?

All details for this will be on my social media page (Facebook and Instagram). 

How old do they need to be for pony rides? 

The minimum age is 2 years old for pony rides. We have a special saddle that offers lots of support and security. We have a maximum weight limit of 4 and a half stone for the shetland ponies.
